Tonya currently serves as a senior campaign advisor to high-profile Members of Congress with some of the most expensive races in the country, including U.S. Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-NY), U.S. Senator Gary Peters (D-MI) and U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH). Before joining the DSCC, Tonya was a fundraiser for the 2006 re-election campaign of U.S. Senator Kent Conrad (D-ND) and the 2004 U.S. Senate campaign of Alaska Governor Tony Knowles.
A native of Slidell, Louisiana and graduate of the Louisiana State University, Tonya began her career in Baton Rouge working for the Louisiana Democratic Party during the 2002 election cycle. She currently resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband and their two children.
